Tomorrow Night

It's 11:15 and I'm thinking it would be great if you and your friends came tomorrow night to "mid-week". We are going to have a blast. The fun starts at 6:30.

Reminder - High School has a small group night, and the Middle school has a large group night.

Last Wednesday...

I heard last Wednesday night was a great night. People told me things got crazy at the retirement home, and that things got wacky raking leaves. I was impressed to hear we raked leaves at 7 homes, and that Resthaven residents had an outstanding night and asked that you guys come back. Way to go - I'm so proud of everyone who participated. Awesome job showing the love of Jesus!!! Here are a few pictures from the night. I'll post more as I get them.

Wednesday NIght - Night of Service

Next Wednesday we will be having our first Night of Service. During these nights we will go throughout the community to show the love of Jesus in a tangible way by serving other people - even people we don't know. For our first N.O.S. (Night of Service) we will be going to Resthaven Retirement Home to play Bingo with the residents. Also, we will have groups going throughout the community to rake leaves from people's yards. This night will be a great opportunity for us to get stretched out of our comfort zone, so I encourage you to attend.

The time will be the same as a normal Wednesday Night - 6:30-8:30, but PLEASE get to LVC as close to 6:30 as you can. Joe & Amyjo Pleune and Eric Colter will be in charge of the evenings festivities, since I will be in Biloxi, Mississippi on a mission trip. If you have any questions about the evening, you can call me on my cell phone or you can give the Pleune's or Eric a call. They will know all the details.
